Carrie is a Board Certified Licensed Acupuncturist and Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine with a license to practice in New York. (NY license 005065, NPI 136600922). She received a Master of Science Degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine (MSTOM) and Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Degree from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine and is a Diplomat in Oriental Medicine, certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
Carrie’s particular areas of interest are in facial cosmetic acupuncture, reproductive health, fertility, dermatology, nutrition and digestive disorders. One of the things that drew Carrie to acupuncture and herbal medicine was witnessing how easily they can balance a woman’s cycle, reduce PMS, and help with all different types of hormonal imbalances from acne to menopause. She was also drawn to this work out of a desire to help patients have the families they desire. Carrie is passionate about supporting women during the post-partum time, whether it is after a birth of a child, or after a late (or early) miscarriage. She is a registered yoga teacher for pre and post-natal yoga, vinyasa and yin yoga as well as a certified Health Coach.
