Mentorship Training & Certificate Program


This comprehensive course utilizing a combination of on-line, live interactive classroom learning and hands-on intensive mentorship and training to present the diverse styles of leaders in the facial acupuncture field. In addition to the core style of Cosmetic Facial Acupuncture offered by Shellie Goldstein, A. P., L.Ac., participants will be introduced to clinical skills and strategies developed and mastered by internationally-renowned lecturers, including Mary Elizabeth Wakefield,L.Ac., Michelle Gellis A.P., L.Ac, Amanda Shayle, L.Ac. (UK), Matt Callison, L.Ac., Lillian Pearl Bridges, Elizabeth Trattner, A.P., Cathy Goldstein, A.P., Carrie Hart Anton, L.Ac. and Kerry Mc Vey L.Ac.. This intensive training and mentoring program is for practitioners serious about enhancing their Cosmetic Facial Acupuncture skills. Graduates will become Advanced Cosmetic Facial Acupuncturists.

*Approved by the American Acupuncture Council plus $100 credit towards new malpractice insurance policies.

Meet the Team:


Shellie Goldstein, A.P., L.Ac., author, educator, and founder of Shellie Goldstein Acupuncture and the Academy of Advanced Cosmetic Facial Acupuncture. Shellie is recognized as an authority in the field of Cosmetic Facial Acupuncture.


Mary Elizabeth Wakefield, L.Ac., internationally renowned educator of Facial Acupuncture, author, and founder of Chi-Akra Center and the Gold Standard Facial Acupuncture Program. Mary Elizabeth is one of the leading proponents of facial acupuncture and related techniques.


Matt Callison, L.Ac., renowned instructor, author, and authority of Motor point acupuncture. Matt has over 27 years’ experience in sports medicine, acupuncture and cadaver dissection.


Lillian Pearl Bridges is the world’s leading authority of Facial Reading and Diagnosis. She has nearly 30 years of experience in speaking and teaching around the world.

Michelle Gellis A.P., L.Ac. is a licensed acupuncturist in Maryland and Florida. She has been a Faculty Member and Clinic Supervisor at the Maryland University of Integrative Health since 2004. Michelle is the founder of the AcuLift ™ Derma Roller and teaches facial acupuncture, facial cupping, Gua Sha and neuromuscular facial conditions around the world.

Amanda Shayle is a TCM practitioner and international educator majoring in woman’s health, dermatology and facial rejuvenation. She is the founder of the Acuregen system of cosmetic acupuncture, and creator of Thrive Intradermal needles. Amanda is a senior lecturer for the College of Chinese Medicine, London, Vice Chairman of The Acupuncture Society, professional association.


Elizabeth Trattner, A.P., founder of the Gemstone Facial and recognized for her knowledge of gemstone science and integration of gemstones with acupuncture. Elizabeth completed her medical rotation at the University of Arizona’s Center of Integrative Medicine with Andrew Weil.


Cathy Goldstein, A.P., acupuncturist, functional and energy medicine healer is the creator of TruEnergy Skincare. This all natural skincare line is designed to unlock the body’s own anti-aging potential for effective and lasting results.

Carrie Hart, L.Ac., holds advanced certifications in facial/cosmetic acupuncture, yoga and nutrition. Her holistic approach to health and wellness combines modalities to treat digestive issues, pain, stress and anxiety symptoms, reproductive health, women’s health, and fertility.


Kerry McVey, L.Ac., LMT, acupuncturist, and massage therapist, is the founder of True North Acupuncture in New York City. Kerry graduated from the first class of the Academy of Advanced Cosmetic Facial Acupuncture and enjoys integrating cosmetic facial acupuncture into her practice.
